Very comfortable bed, location within walking distance of loads of great restaurants and an excellent restaurant/ food court (Kommune check it out). People mention the area being slightly dodgy, I had no issues. Looks like a bit of a real UK city and very close to the main high street. Excellent value for money in comparison to surrounding hotels. If you were comparing it to hotels in Europe the value for money is less good. Very close to the train station and (for me) the coach station. Very short walk though along quiet streets which may be an issue for some. Recommend arriving during daylight hours. Very close to tram stops.

Staff were very friendly and efficient and the room was just as expected. Breakfast was good value for money, we arrived with only 10 minutes left of breakfast and there was still plenty of choice and the food was still fresh. Very impressed. Easy few minute walk into the center or to the nearest tram/bus stop. Little tip, do be aware there are some 'interesting' characters around the pub on the corner and up the hill at the bus stops, but no one bothered us, just keep walking by ☺️

Great, comfortable stay. Really nice and helpful staff. Dinner was a little bit overpriced for how much you get (I ordered the indian salad as a main with chicken and it cost 13GBP). But the buffet breakfast more than made up for it and I definitely feel like I got my money's worth! The room rate was also very good and the location was nice and quiet despite being dead in the town centre. 100% would stay here again!

Great value for money. Perfect if you're looking for a budget stay but remember you get what you pay for. No frills hotel in a convenient location 5-10 mins walk from the main shops, Universities and other main attractions Great that they had a bar downstairs so I could grab a drink to take to my room, and they also gave me some soya milk in a jug for my morning tea.

Close to the city centre, everything is in walking distance. The rooms are small- however very thoughtfully put together and intentionally laid out to make the most of the space. It had everything we needed. The hotel itself was clean, staff were very friendly &helpful. It was also quiet at night which is good. The price was brilliant for what we got!
